Roscommon DPW reports lift-station work, winter operations and equipment fixes
The village DPW reported intensive winter operations, new lighting and furnace repairs at the DPW garage, DTE work starting on the Main Lift Station (the replaced generator will be moved to Brooks Street), and consideration of removing an unused elevator at the DPW plant.

The Department of Public Works reported heavy winter workloads at the Feb. 10 council meeting, saying "Let Run is still in effect with the very cold temperatures and the frost so deep in the ground." The DPW noted extensive snow plowing and blowing, a sidewalk blower that was broken and is being repaired, and that new, more efficient lighting has been ordered and installed at the DPW garage. One furnace at the garage was also fixed and placed on a regular maintenance schedule.
