The Village of Decatur Manager Search Committee voted Oct. 12, 2026, to recommend five finalists for the village manager position after reviewing 28 applications. Charlene Jackson offered the motion to forward candidates 7, 8, 12, 27 and 28 to the Village Council for interviews; the motion passed 6-0 with support from Chris Kadulski.
