Tod Monson told the council he purchased the Fillmore golf course to prevent residential development, will add a back nine on the west side of the interstate, acquire 12 acres from Chalk Creek Irrigation as part of the purchase, and will operate the course without outside investors as Pistol Rock Golf Course.
