The Morgan County Board of County Commissioners voted to renew a previously issued special-use permit for a battery energy storage system operated by Pawnee Solar, LLC. Commissioner Kelvin Bernhardt moved to approve Resolution 2026 BCC 020 renewing the permit granted under Resolution 2023 BCC 22; Chairman Jon Becker seconded the motion and it carried 2-0.
