Planning Commission views state-required Low Impact Development training video
The Washington Terrace Planning Commission watched a Low Impact Development (LID) training video on July 31, 2025; General Planner Tyler Seaman said the training is required under the City Stormwater Discharge Permit and that the city has already been implementing LID practices.

At the July 31, 2025 meeting, General Planner Tyler Seaman told the Washington Terrace Planning Commission that it is a state requirement for the commission to receive Low Impact Development (LID) training as part of the City Stormwater Discharge Permit. The commission watched a video provided by the City Stormwater Manager, and Seaman said the city has already been implementing LID measures in recent projects.
