During its June 9 meeting, the Village of Funk Board considered proposals to add underground sprinklers to Village Park and voted against the project. The minutes record the motion: "It was moved Michael and seconded by Ed that underground sprinklers would not be added to Village Park." Recorded votes were ayes from Michael DeJonge, Ed Forkner and Michelle Boulware; Patty Lueth recorded a nay. The motion carried, and no funding or vendor was approved.
