The Village of Funk Board of Trustees completed its annual reorganization on Dec. 8, 2025, nominating and ratifying Ed Forkner as chairperson. "It was moved by Michael and seconded by Michelle to nominate Ed Forkner as the chairperson," the minutes record; the board then voted to cease nominations and ratified Forkner, with Forkner abstaining from the final chair vote.
