The council approved a special-use permit for Harvest RV Resort (Pony Express Village, APN 001-231-28) to convert 23 mobile-home spaces into up to 60 RV spaces in Phase I with restrooms, laundry and on-site management; the permit will be reviewed in one year.

The Yerington City Council on Oct. 12 voted unanimously to approve a special-use permit for Harvest RV Resort at 300 Perumean Lane (APN 001-231-28). Developer representatives said Phase I will convert existing mobile‑home spaces into RV spaces to provide temporary housing for an expanding local workforce tied to mining, energy and infrastructure projects.
