County engineer outlines FEMA bridge timeline, paving status and staffing improvements

County Engineer Justin Barfield told the Geneva County Commission on Oct. 14 that the department has seen staffing improvements after a recent pay-scale increase, with four contract workers hired full-time and two outside employees added, although four vacancies remain.
