Auglaize County commissioners opened one bid of $72.51 for an 8.16-acre hay ground and continued interviews for the Commissioners' Clerk position Sept. 2–4. The Board also authorized staff to offer a Solid Waste recycling laborer/truck driver position to a selected candidate.

At 10:00 a.m. on Sept. 2, 2025, Esther Leffel, Clerk of the Board, opened the lone bid for leasing an 8.16-acre hay ground: a bid of $72.51. The Board and County Administrator Erica L. Preston recorded the opening and said they will review the single bid before deciding whether to award the lease.
