The Emanuel County Board of Commissioners convened a workshop meeting at 5 p.m. on June 9, 2025. Chairman Jim Sherrod opened the session; the meeting materials list commissioners Kawame Coleman (District I), Ricky Thompson (District II), John Moore (District III), Sherrod (District IV) and Timmy Oliver (District V) as present, along with County Administrator L. Guy Singletary, County Attorney Richard McNeely, County Clerk Halei Lamb and Public Works Director Justin Morris.
