The Troup County Board of Elections & Registration unanimously certified the results of the July election during its July 17, 2025 meeting in LaGrange. Joseph T. Jones, a board member, moved to certify the election; Paulette Hall seconded and the motion passed with Jones, Dianne Davidson, Hall and Secretary Eric Davenport voting yes. Chairman William "Bill" Stump was recorded as absent.
