Phillips County staff say Land Use Code wind energy revisions are being drafted; moratorium runs through Sept. 30
Administrator/Planner Andrew Nygaard told commissioners on Aug. 19 that a law firm is drafting suggested revisions to the county's Land Use Code for wind energy and that the county's wind energy moratorium remains in effect through Sept. 30, 2025; planning and BOCC public hearings will follow if a proposal is advanced.

Administrator/Planner Andrew Nygaard reported to the Board of County Commissioners on Aug. 19 that the law firm Sullivan, Green, Seavy, Jarvis, LLC is preparing suggested revisions to the wind energy section of the Phillips County Land Use Code.
