Early in the meeting the chair read a statutory basis for moving into executive session, citing "BSA 3 13 a 1" as authority to discuss the appointment, employment or evaluation of a public officer or employee. "We will move on to executive session 1, b s a 3 13 a 1," the chair said when explaining the reason to the public.
