The Chair said the voluntary merger study committee must meet by Oct. 15 and that the district "must name someone by September 15," giving the board a hard procedural deadline to designate a member or delegate. The Chair also said the study period runs Oct. 15, 2026 through March 2028 and that the committee’s final report is due Sept. 1, 2027, with a board review and a possible town vote to follow in March 2028.
