Reading interventionist urges district support for licensing waiver

During public comment, James King identified himself as a reading interventionist teacher at Molly Stark Elementary School and described filing a waiver under "rule 59 50" with the Vermont Standards Board for Professional Educators. King said the board tabled his request and asked SVSU to "submit this request or formally ask the... that you hired me as a full time reading interventionist and that you support a licensing licensing path that matches the job I do."
