The Trappe Town Council voted Aug. 5 to approve an annual contract with LakeSource for maintenance and additional services at Harrison Circle Pond for $4,525.00. President Newnam presented the contract and said the town received one maintenance quote from LakeSource and a separate shoreline cleanup quote from Premier Service Group; Town Attorney Lyndsey Ryan noted "a couple of minor edits to be made to the contract but nothing substantial." The motion to approve LakeSource's contract, with the listed additional services and attorney edits, passed unanimously.
