After audit presentation, council requests variance breakdowns and documents
Councilors asked staff and the auditor for follow-up detail: a variance-by-variance MD&A explanation, CD maturities and rates, lease agreements for EVs, and line-item drivers for public-safety increases. Auditor and staff agreed to provide documents and return with answers.

At the close of the presentation the council and auditor agreed on several follow-up items: the auditor will provide the variance explanations called out in the MD&A and tie supporting schedules to those variances; finance staff will supply CD maturities, rates and reinvestment options; and management will explain operational drivers behind public-safety and law-enforcement increases and EV deployment. "I can certainly follow-up," Justin said when asked to provide more robust answers to the council's questions.
