At the start of the Feb. 13 meeting, Michele Richards and students presented the Thanks‑a‑Latte café, a three‑year high‑school program in which students plan and budget grocery lists, shop for items, prepare drinks and receive simulated checks to learn banking and personal budgeting skills.
