Nathan Willingham, the principal planner leading the update, told a packed public workshop that the project is a refresh of Brookhaven's 2020 plan rather than a rewrite and that the team is "still in the starting phases." He urged residents to use the project website, interactive mapping tools and a community survey to provide feedback that will shape a 20—25-year policy guide for the Board of Aldermen.
