Resident urges more funding, possible millage for Madison road repairs

Todd Ashcroft of Harbour Town addressed the Transportation Commission during the public-comment period, urging more funding for pavement repairs and saying Madison’s open-data pavement scores show many arterial routes are in need of work. He described the data and proposed either reallocating existing maintenance funds toward spot patching and joint repairs or creating a specialized millage to speed resurfacing of seriously degraded corridors.
