The Fallon City Council approved a contract on Sept. 1 with R&R Public Affairs, a federal and state government affairs firm, providing a $20,000 monthly retainer and 30 days’ termination notice. Mayor Ken Tedford and Chief of Staff Bob Erickson told the council the contract is intended to help the city navigate federal and state funding channels and advocate for Fallon’s infrastructure priorities.
