MnGeo reports PLSS grant progress and Commons modernization extension request
MnGeo reported that PLSS Monument Grant projects are roughly 37% complete with about $9.1 million awarded and 28% reimbursed so far; the agency also requested a one‑year extension for Geospatial Commons modernization work to March 2026 and said a Government‑Owned Lands dataset will be released quarterly, starting in Q2 2025.
