Commissioners authorize up to $3 million CFA grant application for Windy Ridge roadway
Indiana County authorized seeking up to $3 million from the Commonwealth Financing Authority to build Phase 3C of roadway and infrastructure to open an additional 31.319 acres at Windy Ridge Business & Technology Park; the county will provide a 30% cash match.

The Indiana County Board of Commissioners on July 23 authorized staff to file an application with the Commonwealth Financing Authority’s Multimodal Transportation Fund for up to $3,000,000 to support Phase 3C of the Windy Ridge Business & Technology Park roadway project in White Township. Byron Stauffer of the Office of Planning & Development said the project is a public‑private collaboration with the Indiana County Development Corporation to extend roadway and utilities to open 31.319 acres for business development.
