Commissioners allow Freedom Claims Management insurance analysis despite one dissent
Brown County commissioners voted on July 21 to allow Freedom Claims Management, Inc. to perform an insurance benefit analysis for the 2026 renewal after a presentation by Theel Insurance; Commissioner Richard Lehmkuhl recorded a nay vote.

Darren Booth, a representative of Theel Insurance, presented information about Freedom Claims Management insurance plans during the July 21 meeting. Following the presentation, Chairman Lucas Heinen moved to permit Freedom Claims Management to perform an insurance benefit analysis for the county’s 2026 policy renewal. Commissioner William Pollock seconded the motion and the board carried the motion; Commissioner Richard Lehmkuhl recorded a nay vote.
