At its Feb. 11 meeting, the Edwards County Commissioners Court approved a Declaration of Local Disaster for Operation Lone Star by a 5–0 vote after Judge Souli Asa Shanklin placed the item on the agenda; Commissioners Graham and Fry moved and seconded the measure.
