Doniphan County asks Waste Management for plan as Transfer Station contract nears April end
As Miller Trash Service’s contract for the Doniphan County Transfer Station nears its April 30, 2025 end, Waste Management’s district manager said Waste Management will submit a proposal for operating the facility; commissioners approved minor repairs to the Transfer Station building while bids for door replacement are being sought.

Doniphan County commissioners on Feb. 24 heard presentations about operations at the county Transfer Station as Miller Trash Service’s contract approaches its April 30, 2025 expiration. Waste Management Senior District Manager John McConnell told the board Waste Management will prepare a proposal for future operations for the commission’s consideration.
