The Fillmore County Board of Equalization approved school district levies for the 2026–27 tax year at its Oct. 13 meeting. Fillmore Central School District #25 was recorded with a general fund levy of 0.430957, a special building fund levy of 0.018632 and a bond levy of 0.249548, giving a grand total of 0.699137. Shickley School District #54 was recorded with a general fund levy of 0.565000 and a special building fund of 0.080000 for a total of 0.645000.
