Matt Furr, who led the park operations update, showed recent work in downtown parks and described small changes to artificial turf and median plantings. He said crews removed several trees that were in conflict with median and lane work but salvaged six high-caliber trees for relocation, estimating their value at about $25,000–$30,000.
