South Cle Elum councilors on June 2 directed the Street Committee to study holiday traffic problems after residents and correspondents raised safety and access concerns. Mayor Pro Tem Allenbaugh read an email from resident Jennifer Freniere about Memorial Day traffic; resident Kyle Walker summarized his discussions with WSDOT and Waze area managers and asked to share the main points with the council.
