The Springville Utility Advisory Board on Sept. 9 endorsed an updated Power Department standards manual, contingent on correcting the streetlight trench-depth language on page 27. The board’s endorsement acknowledges the manual is intended as a local supplement to the National Electrical Code and the National Electrical Safety Code and includes guidance on municipal versus public utility easements, electrical service points, and material equivalencies.
