After several closed sessions, the council approved 'Option 1' of the village manager’s contract for 2025–26 by unanimous recorded vote.

Following closed-session discussions that began at 7:52 p.m. and included a later re-entry to discuss the manager’s contract, the Village Council voted to approve 'Option 1' of Village Manager Ron Alden’s contract for 2025 and 2026. The motion was made by Kurt Kehoe, seconded by Jennifer Smejkal, and carried with recorded unanimous ayes.
