Senator warns SB1430 would divert highway funds and could nullify Amendment 175
Sen. Byron Pelton told Logan County commissioners that Senate Bill 1430 would reduce Highway Users Tax Fund revenues and that, if voters approve Amendment 175, SB1430 could take effect immediately and override parts of the amendment.
