Morgan County Finance Director Jessica Trusty presented five bids for a five-year professional auditing contract (Mauldin & Jenkins $304,500; Liittjohann, Kauffman & Pederson $300,000; RubinBrown $467,175; Clinger Hagerman $345,100; Hinkle & Company $295,700) and recommended awarding to the local bidder Liittjohann, Kauffman & Pederson. Chairman Becker observed that Hinkle & Company submitted the lowest bid and Commissioner Bernhardt noted the county maintains a 5% local preference policy.
