Commissioners reject elevator bids, direct new RFP to include DHS building
After reviewing three bids for Administration Building elevator modernization, the Board voted 2-0 to reject the bids and direct staff to issue a new RFP that would include the Department of Human Services building as well.

Mike Cox presented three bids for elevator modernization at the Administration Building and summarized the low base bid from TK Elevator and optional alternates. Cox told the Board the TK Elevator proposal included a base low bid of $121,495.45 plus alternates for a power unit and complete cab interior, bringing the total to $155,972.75 and remaining within the project budget.
