The Atchison County Commission on Oct. 6 approved a $22,612.50 purchase order for 2026 road striping, to be paid from the 2026 Road and Bridge budget. The board recorded that the vendor was the lowest bidder from an earlier RFP and that the work covers hard-surface roads receiving new overlays or chip-and-seal treatments; examples cited in the record include Ottawa Road and Greeley.
