By unanimous roll call vote the Knox County Board reappointed Kevin R. Barta (License #8-1109, Class A) as County Highway Superintendent effective Jan. 1, 2026 and adopted Resolution No. 2025-43 authorizing the chairman to sign the Nebraska Department of Transportation Year-End Certification of County Highway Superintendent form. The resolution cites Nebraska statutes sections 39-2302 and 39-2501 through 39-2505 and details NDOT documentation requirements for incentive payments.
