Library director requests facilities support; commissioners report forensic center assessment

Evie Parrish, director of the Jasper County Public Library, told the council on March 18 that all three county library buildings are aging and will need updates. Parrish said the libraries completed a facility assessment report and will present it at the next meeting, asking the council to review the libraries’ budget in conjunction with potential facility requests.
