Julie Lassa, administrator for the Division of Agricultural Development at the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection, told Vernon County officials the agency connects farmers and businesses to markets, resources and export opportunities. "We export Wisconsin exports to, I think, 151 countries around the world," she said, and noted the department's four program areas that support producers, processors and exporters.
