Committee sends Vernon County housing study to full board with edits and glossary
The committee approved sending the draft Vernon County housing study to the full Board of Supervisors (planned Aug. 21 presentation) after staff corrected data table errors, revised the executive summary and agreed to add a glossary and a brief explanation of why the county is stepping into housing work.

Staff reminded the committee that the full draft housing report and a two-page summary had been circulated in advance and outlined recent edits made since the last meeting. Staff said the data on resident incomes (pages 13–14) had been corrected after finding numbers that did not add up, and that the executive summary will be revised to better spotlight key findings and recommendations. The staff member also said a glossary of terms will be added before the full board presentation.
