Austin County approves sick-leave change, discusses emergency-closing pay
The court approved a change to the county employee manual to grant one day of sick leave on hire and monthly accrual after 60 days, and discussed emergency-closing pay with a request for a workshop on the issue.

Austin County Commissioners Court discussed two employee manual items on March 10. HR Administrative Assistant Tara Wise presented proposed changes to Section 6.9 (Emergency Closing) and Section 8.6 (Sick Leave).
