Board notes Golden Triangle Waste Services will raise household collection fee Oct. 1

County Administrator Jay Fisher informed the Lowndes County Board of Supervisors that Golden Triangle Waste Services notified the county of an increase in household collection fees. Supervisor Leroy Brooks moved to spread the notification on the minutes and Supervisor Matt Furnari seconded; the board approved the action 5‑0. The contractor will increase the fee from $10.05 per household per month to $11.16 per household per month, effective Oct. 1, 2025.
