Brown County Public Safety Committee reviews costs, timeline for sheriff’s training facility and range

Brown County officials reviewed options for replacing the county’s old work release center and planning a new sheriff’s training facility, range and office space. Officials were given retrofit and new‑build cost estimates and agreed the issue will be folded into the county’s five‑year capital improvement plan; no vote was taken.
