Makerspace consultant to convene stakeholders; city budgets initial support

Staff said the makerspace project has a kickoff with the consultant scheduled for Oct. 20 with a 12-person core stakeholder group; a virtual artist focus group is scheduled for Nov. 30 and a two-day on-site visit during the week of Dec. 7. "We've got 12 people, I think, who are gonna be involved with that," the Presenter said, adding the consultant will conduct focus groups and site visits and the subcommittee will report back at the next meeting.
