During the open forum resident Ron Russell said he plans to replace the sidewalk at his residence and asked whether the city would consider removing the old sidewalk as part of an assistance program. Council members reacted positively to the idea and asked staff to review the current sidewalk ordinance to determine what changes would be required to support such a program.
