County selects Berkeley Group to lead comprehensive-plan update; commission to play active role

Deputy County Administrator Lee Pambit told the commission the county has identified the Berkeley Group as the consultant to lead a full comprehensive-plan update and that the Board of Supervisors will officially approve the selection at its next meeting. Pambit said the county intends a broad outreach program with at least eight public meetings and 'pop-up' events to increase citizen participation.
