CCRPC sets 2028 ECOS amendment deadlines; towns urged to submit future land-use changes
Kate McCarthy told PAC that the ECOS plan will be updated in 2028 to incorporate MTP, CEDS and AHMP updates and any municipal future land use map changes; towns must notify CCRPC by Sept. 15, 2027 and secure local approval by March 15, 2028 to be incorporated.

Kate McCarthy briefed the Planning Advisory Committee on the schedule for the 2028 ECOS plan amendment and two deadlines for municipalities. The amendment will incorporate updates to related regional plans (the Metropolitan Transportation Plan, Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy and the All-Hazards Mitigation Plan) and accommodate locally requested future land use map changes.
