Emergency services: call counts reported for Washington Township
The board heard EMS and fire dispatch figures for 2026 and July: Penn State Health reported 22 calls Jan–Jun (8 covered by others); Northern York County, Wellsville, and Northeast Adams reported July dispatches with specific counts in the township.

Chairman Dan McGregor read agency call reports at the Aug. 17 meeting. Penn State Health provided its first report of the year covering January–June: 22 calls in Washington Township, 8 of which were covered by another provider. Northern York County Fire & EMS reported 40 dispatches in July, three of them in the township. Wellsville Fire Company had 34 July dispatches, six in the township, and Northeast Adams Fire & EMS recorded 61 calls in July with seven in the township.
