Vernon County committee approves formal scope-change process for community development grants; housing study draft due
The Economic Development Committee unanimously approved a Community Development Grant scope-change process that adds allowances for 'changes due to unforeseen circumstances.' Staff said UW–Madison Extension will provide a first draft of the county housing study at the April Housing Task Force meeting.

Amy Oliver, Vernon County Community Development Director, presented a proposed process for Community Development Grant (CDG) project scope changes at the April 3 Economic Development Committee meeting and said the department will add language allowing 'changes due to unforeseen circumstances' to cover alterations that change a project's initial intent and objectives.
