At its Oct. 1 meeting, the Fremont Select Board reviewed and voted to recommend a set of 2027 budget functions. The board voted 3-0 to recommend function 4141 (Election & Registration) at $17,763 and function 4197 (Advertising & Regional Association, covering RPC and NHMA dues) at $10,452. The board discussed changes tied to anticipated RPC per‑capita increases and a 4% NHMA dues adjustment.
